چکیده

Abstract Study question What are predictors of fertilization, clinical pregnancy, miscarriage and livebirth delivery outcomes after microdissection testicular sperm extraction (mTESE)-ICSI in NOA patients with different etiologies? Summary answer Predictors for ICSI outcome were various etiologies type associated these patients. is known already due to spermatogenic dysfunction, accounting about 60 percent the total azoospermia cases, may have opportunities be fathers their own biological children by mTESE combined ICSI. For them, there some predictive factors including motility, morphology, testis volume levels reproductive hormone follicle stimulating (FSH), luteinizing (LH) testosterone (T), while remains underappreciated, especially relationship between male reviewing large scale data. design, size, duration This retrospective study involved 1157 treated 1534 complete cycles at Reproductive Medical Centre Peking University Third Hospital from March 2012 October 2021. Factors influencing sperm retrieval following testicular sperm extraction in nonobstructive azoospermia patients

OBJECTIVE Azoospermia owing to testicular disorders is the most severe manifestation of male infertility. The main concern for patients with nonobstructive azoospermia (NOA) is the probability of successful sperm retrieval following testicular sperm extraction (TESE). Therefore, the goal of this study was to determine predictive factors correlated with sperm retrieval. METHODS We assessed the...

Prediction of successful sperm retrieval in patients with nonobstructive azoospermia.

INTRODUCTION Our aim was to evaluate the predictive values of factors that indicate successful sperm retrieval in men with nonobstructive azoospermia. MATERIALS AND METHODS We evaluated 85 infertile men with nonobstructive azoospermia who underwent multiple bilateral testicular biopsies. Factors including age, infertility period, surgical history, testicular volume, testicular consistency, se...

Factors influencing the outcome of ICSI in patients with obstructive and non-obstructive azoospermia: a comparative study.

BACKGROUND Factors influencing success of sperm retrieval in azoospermic patients and outcome of ICSI were evaluated. METHODS AND RESULTS Uni- and multifactorial analysis were performed using logistic and stepwise analysis, following surgical sperm retrieval by percutaneous epididymal sperm aspiration (55 cycles) or testicular sperm extraction (142 cycles) in 52 and 123 patients with obstruct...

Outcome of repeated testicular sperm extraction and ICSI in patients with non-obstructive azoospermia

Objective: To evaluate the outcome of repeated TESE/ICSI, in patients with non-obstructive azoospermia, to collect sufficient information for adequate counseling of the patients. Design: Retrospective study Setting: The Egyptian IVF-ET center Materials and Methods: 41 patients suffering from non-obstructive azoospermia underwent 59 repeated TESE/ICSI cycles. All of the patients had repeated TES...
